Sancho's Taqueria Restaurant Review:
Sancho's is as simple a counter-service taqueria as you'd expect from a place with the phone number 322-TACO, but this small Peninsula chain (there are three locations, as well as food trucks) is distinct in the fact that it is managed by Village Pub alum Adam Torres. Diners find very good and reasonably priced fish tacos, with grilled or fried fish within crispy or soft tacos. A variety of hot sauces let patrons spice them up beyond the base. A selection of seafood specials, such as shrimp enchiladas, and classic Mexican options like fajitas and quesadillas and an extensive burrito list are available for those who want to go off the signature dish. At this outpost near University Avenue, there is a smattering of tables inside and a few on the sidewalk as well.
