Santi’s Restaurante Mexicano Restaurant Review: Santi’s sits on the far edge of town, placing it off the radar screen for most tourists. But this former Waffle House has gone south of the border with a long menu of favorites that all pair well with margaritas. While somewhat heavy on the onions, the salsa is refreshing and crisp. Mama’s Specialty Soup will cure what ails you and comes with a healthy portion of chicken, lime, cilantro and rice, and two beef flautas. The portions are plentiful, especially the wet burritos---you’ll need to use your fork (and possibly a spoon) for these. The ample free parking is an added bonus.
