Sapporo Grill Japanese Steakhouse Restaurant Review: This upscale Japanese eatery is a mix of the old and the new, with warm amber lights, flat-screen TVs and paper lanterns. Its main focus is on the Japanese grill, but the extensive menu features dishes from a wide array of Japanese traditions. Starters range from cold items, such as tuna tartare, to warm, like Kobe carpaccio, to hot dishes of grilled yellowtail cheeks. Sushi rolls, udon, tempura and bento boxes are also on the menu, but the draw is the grilled meat and seafood. Teppan entrées include a choice of filet mignon, New York steak, lobster, scallop, shrimp, salmon, chicken or a combination thereof, served with soup, salad and steamed rice. Wash it all down with one of the many specialty cocktails, such as the lychee lemon drop or dew drop with cucumber and melon.
