THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Saso's Japanese Noodle House Restaurant Review:

This unassuming little restaurant serves up some of the best (and certainly some of the most, um, ornate) sushi in town. With Saso behind the counter, sushi is brought to new heights (literally) with an impossibly tall vegetarian roll with sprays of bean sprouts and carrots. Sushi isn't the only game here, though---it is, after all, called a noodle house. The lengthy menu also has a bevy of steaming bowls of soba, yakisoba dishes (go for the spicy), tempuras and one of our favorites, the teriyaki salmon. Saso's has a number of Japanese beers and smallish wine list, but we usually stick with sake anyway. Service can be a bit slow when the restaurant gets busy, but it's always very friendly.
