This serene restaurant manages to maintain a harmonious balance between classic and contemporary, making it a perfect place for an intimate tête-à-tête or a serious business dinner. Elegant and intimate, it offers well-spaced tables and lovely views of the gardens. The ingredients used in the cuisine are always of high quality and are prepared to bring out the impeccable, intense natural flavors. Health-conscious diners appreciate the alternative cuisine, which offers such appetizers as crunchy vegetable vermicelli with seared ahi, and such entrées as sea bass, salmon or mahi mahi simply grilled with fresh vegetables. More sophisticated dishes include the glazed oysters with Smithfield ham or the timbale of crab, salmon, avocado and tomato. Follow with roast veal steak accompanied by ginger and apples or oriental sea bass with ginger sauce. Desserts include delicious homemade ice creams and a wonderful flourless chocolate cake. The wine list is impressive, and you can even find bargains, such as a very pleasant Saint Joseph.
