A terrazzo floor, fireplace and sun-kissed windows create an interstice backdrop to enjoy the morning menu. A sweet Belgium waffle with cinnamon raisins, rich molasses and a hint of Baileys is just one of the wake-up options. At lunch and dinner you can capture a bite-size grilled quail appetizer grazed with dark, rich cherries or simply nibble on the complimentary hot sourdough-and-sweet raisin bread. For the main attraction, avoid the truffle pizza due to heavy fromage blanc and stale truffle flavor and go for the kitchen’s highlight---beef short ribs. The tender meat’s subtle flavor allows the sharp taste and thick texture of yoked grits to shine. |
