| Settebello is a classic Neapolitan pizzeria that adheres to the strict guidelines applied to pizza makers in Naples. Cooked in a wood-burning oven for about a minute, the pizzas have a very thin crust with blistered, slightly charred edges. We have enjoyed the traditional margherita, as well as the bianca and carbonara. For starters, you’ll find a well intended but inauthentic panzanella salad, caprese salad, and plate of Italian meats that includes products from top producers like Salumi, the Seattle-based company operated by Mario Batali’s father, Armandino. For dessert, consider a novel Nutella pizza or a very respectable tiramisu. The mostly Italian, reasonably priced wine list is short, but covers many regions. The casual setting features a rectangular, white marble bar and counter, photos of Naples and an open kitchen with prominent wood-fired pizza oven. |
