ShabaShabu Restaurant Review

: Shaba Shabu is not only a traditional Japanese dish, but an event---a savory hot pot is used to cook at your table. The restaurant delivers two Asian cuisines in one cosmopolitan-chic package. In the Thai dining room you'll choose from an extensive menu that includes the likes of Chiang Rai pork and Phuket sea bass alongside the more familiar pad thai and coconut curries. The offering is no less varied on the Japanese side, where temptations include sushi, teriyaki, katsu, tempura, soba and---naturally---shaba shabu made with your choice of chicken, Kobe beef or lobster. If you find yourself struggling to decide whether to opt for Thai or Japanese, rest assured that you can't go wrong.
