| While not the trendiest place around, this always-busy steakhouse is chosen for Saturday-night celebrations and no-occasion Tuesday treats alike. Upscale but not pretentious, this is the place for diners who want reliable food and service in a distinctive leather-and-wood setting that doesn’t require dressy attire. Girlfriend groups sipping wine and couples toasting with martinis fill the comfortable bar and rooms, all readying for giant plates of Prime beef. Garlic-infused butter is one of the signature sauces for steaks, and each slab of meat comes with sides of chunky mashers, fresh corn and steamed sugar-snap peas. Blackened ahi and sautéed jumbo scallops are options, too, if you’re not worshiping at the beef altar. Dessert includes a chocolate ganache cake. |
