THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Simpatico Restaurant Review:

Owner Ben Lyman has two restaurants side-by-side: Willie Rae's and Simpatico. While the former does lunch, the latter only does dinner. It's also less noisy and more sedate in its décor and atmosphere, yet only a cut-through separates the two spaces. Cooking is simple but tasty, with such dishes as a warm goat cheese with red pepper sauce and olives, served with a crisped Tuscan toast for dipping. Portions are large, so four can share this opener with no problem. Pappardelle with a lobster cream sauce, a special, came with the curved fried tail of a large lobster on top. Salmon came perfectly cooked on a wooden plank. For dessert, we vote for the bread pudding, but there's also blueberry-peach cobbler. The wine list is far from great, but it offers decent selections.
