From the outside, sno:la may look like yet another pseudo health-oriented frozen yogurt bar so common in Los Angeles. But step inside and you’ll quickly realize that this yogurt joint is different. Toppings here raise the bar for quality and creativity. We like the Callebaut chocolate chips, the mango sauce and the coffee-flavored cacao nibs. For the health-conscious, the shop offers some genuinely healthy yet creative options, like sesame-flax crunch; plump, fresh berries; and shaved coconut. Beyond tasty, sno:la is a dessert spot with an environmental stance. The disposable spoons are biodegradable, the yogurt machines are solar powered and the countertops are made of recycled material.
