The hip setting lays the foundation for chef Kim Canteenwalla’s inventive variations on American cooking. With hues of pink, lime green and black complementing the classic décor, the room feels almost "modern Victorian" and that is no accident, as designer Roger Thomas looked to Victorian-era London and Oscar Wilde for inspiration. Serving breakfast through dinner, the menu features such mainstays as buttermilk pancakes and traditional eggs Benedict to options like lobster potpie with seasonal vegetables and filet mignon sliders. Lunch choices run the gamut from spicy pigs in a blanket with smoky house ketchup to the Society plate, a platter of charcuterie, artisanal cheese and pickles. Don’t miss the late-night menu that includes “lollipop” chicken wings with three dipping sauces, and a grilled sirloin burger with a choice of cheese and fries. Another spin on the classic-meets-modern theme can be found on the cocktail menu, featuring reinvented traditional cocktails such as the Old Fashioned, made with Belvedere Pomarancza vodka, or the Rang and Guava Collins, made with Rangpur gin, Orchid guava liqueur, fresh sweet and sour, rock candy syrup and lime juice.
