Sokolowski's University Inn Restaurant Review: Sokolowski's, originally a food stand that served hungry steelworkers, is a Cleveland legend. Regulars and first-time visitors alike come here to load up on Salisbury steak, stuffed cabbage and chicken paprikash. Meanwhile, pot roast hides under blankets of home-style gravy, and the fresh bratwurst is some of the best in town. There's a salad bar, too, but no one cares; once you're halfway through your first sautéed pierogi, you'll all but forget there's such a thing as lettuce or carrots. Homemade pies, cakes and rice pudding are noteworthy. Chase your meal with a Polish beer, and enjoy the piano player while reveling in the old Cleveland atmosphere. All food is served cafeteria-style, so be prepared to grab a tray and make some decisions.
