Sol y Luna Restaurant Review: Sol y Luna continues to charm diners with its intimate dining room and colorful Mexican tapas. We always start with the sampler of house-made chips (plantain, sweet potato and red chile vinegar potato chips) with fresh chunky guacamole. Move on to chicken chilaquiles or red chile crab meat enchiladas. The Mojo will serve two with red snapper and shrimp in a garlic and wine-laced broth. Beef lovers will go for the pan-seared tenderloin blanketed with Chihuahua cheese and tomato-chipotle chutney. Kahlúa flan, served on a corn husk and topped with whipped cream, makes a satisfying sweet finish. But do peruse the selection of more than 40 premium tequilas. Consider that the margaritas are quite possibly the best in town. Perhaps you’ll want to linger awhile longer. The charmingly rustic back patio is popular for brunch. |
