Sonoma Chicken Coop Restaurant Review: The name is a little silly---for one thing, Sonoma's not exactly known for its chickens these days---but we like the concept just fine. It's quick-service dining for the Chardonnay-and-vinaigrette set. The signature rotisserie chicken is served with the sauce and side dish of your choosing; options on the latter include grilled artichoke and herbed rice pilaf. The menu is surprisingly extensive, offering various pizzas and pasta dishes as well as a full complement of gourmet sandwiches and nibbles. Vegetarians can choose between several specialty salads---if your diet allows seafood, we recommend the prawn and avocado over house greens. It comes as no surprise that nearly every vintage on the brief wine list is Sonoma-grown.
