Sonora Restaurant Restaurant Review: The Santa Fe décor sets a relaxed and laid back feel that nicely contrasts with the vibrancy of the food. Try the degustación de empanadas, a sampler trio: braised short ribs empanada with ginger and cilantro aïoli; sirloin steak empanada with guajillo and golden raisin aji; shrimp empanadas with horseradish mojito. The combination of sauces and marinades gives the appetizer its zing. Chile salmon crudo and lamb meatballs are among shareable tapas. Continue with the Argentina entrecôte, a coffee-rubbed steak with heirloom tomatoes, serrano ham, potato pancakes and parsley chimichurri sauce.
