THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Steamers of Pismo Restaurant Review:
Although the food and service are inconsistent, when they’re combined with the oceanfront view, Steamer’s gets firing on all cylinders. We like the signature steamed clams with sourdough to sop up the broth, the clam-rich and not-too-heavy clam chowder, and the smoked salmon sliders. On weekends, there’s a good seafood bar in the lounge (a popular spot during the daily happy hour) with oysters on the half shell, shrimp, and seasonal items such as snow crab. Desserts include the standard crème brûlée, bread pudding and cheesecake, but we prefer the refreshing house-made sorbets. The full bar also has some good premium beers on tap.
