The Stinking Rose Restaurant Review: This kitschy Italianate restaurant has managed to turn garlic into a theme, and is popular with tourists, kids and rowdy private parties. The fun food begins with bagna calda, garlic cloves cooked in olive oil and butter that you smear on French bread. The menu offers such specials as 40-clove garlic chicken or garlic-encrusted baby back ribs, but you might want to stick with the pizzas and pastas. But do try the garlic ice cream for dessert. |
