Downtowners are happy to have the premises formerly occupied by the Atwater Block Brewery taken over by another local brewery subsequent to the Atwater shuttering. Brewer Dean Jones is in charge of the ales and lagers produced in-house in a brewery visible through huge windows behind the long maple bar. Chef Adrian Neal handles the kitchen, much of which is also visible to those seated in the high-ceilinged room done up in cherry wood, stainless steel and maple. Fresh fish are a specialty, from the rainbow trout stuffed with mushrooms and herbs to the beer-battered fish and chips and broiled whitefish with chopped tomatoes, black olives and capers. There’s also a list of steaks and pasta dishes as well as pizzas and sandwiches. Beer is the only alcoholic beverage available currently.
