Stroud’s Restaurant Review: It’s all about the chicken, fried in a cast-iron skillet, at this renovated farmhouse that has several rooms and a separate bar. Meals are served family-style, complete with bowls of mashed potatoes, cream gravy, bacon-studded green beans and baskets of homemade cinnamon rolls. Diners also get either chicken noodle soup or salad. There are other items on the menu, too, like fried pork chops, catfish and salmon.
