| Popular with the college crowd, Sudwerk is a good choice for a fun night out with friends. The menu has been revamped to feature mostly American favorites, with a few German dishes thrown in for good measure. Entrées are what can be expected at a brewpub: burgers, pizza, ribs, fish ‘n’ chips and the like. A handful of dishes are a notch above, including a traditional schnitzel and grilled sausage plate. But the main draw is the beer, which includes märzen, hefeweizen and pilsner. True beer aficionados can try a five-beer sampler, or sign up for a private brewery tour. Come on a Wednesday for $1 pint night, or Saturday during summer for live music on the outside patio. |
