Of Borgata's showcase restaurants, this one falls flattest on food. The Atlantic City offering from Susanna Foo, the owner of the restaurant by the same name in Philadelphia, has a serene décor and black-clad servers that are discreet yet helpful. But the food, where individual entrées bump up against the $50 mark (pinecone bass with sweet and sour sauce), don't warrant the price. Everything looks wonderful, but only a few things actually taste it. Wok-sautéed baby bok choy is a standout, and was the most flavorful item during a dinner that cost close to $200 for two.
