| Like its rival upscale steakhouse chains, Sullivan’s caters to a business-oriented clientele. The classic martinis and shrimp cocktails are served just as they were in the 1940s. Steaks, ranging from an eight-ounce filet mignon to a whopping 24-ounce porterhouse, are tender and juicy, and consistently cooked within a shade of the ordered temperature. For a change of pace, try the seafood---scallops with spicy Thai sauce, crab-stuffed shrimp with chive butter, and, of course, broiled Maine lobster. The well-trained waitstaff enhances the experience, and the wine list is among the most extensive in town, making Sullivan's suitable for anything from deal-closings to celebrations. Top it all off in the bar with a single malt scotch and a cigar. |
