THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Sun Ray Grill Restaurant Review

: The warehouse district is increasingly a dining destination, but Sun Ray Grill has been there through it all. The building is wide open, airy and bright, and customers enjoy the greetings with smiles at the door and spirited service. The same enthusiasm infuses the food, with a menu that ranges from Thai-inspired grilled fish entrées to south-of-the-border-tinged tacos and nachos to straightforward burgers and chicken sandwiches. Many patrons depend on this place for its imaginative selection of salads, such as the Chinese chicken salad, or the generously portioned “Rasta Spinach Salad” with strawberries, onions, mango, chopped bacon and crumbled goat cheese. The restaurant also has a full sushi bar that turns out some notable rolls. Bread pudding takes on new life with a creamy Amaretto custard topping. There is not a heavy emphasis on wine, but sakés, local beers and margaritas made from freshly squeezed juice are reason enough to take your time before the meal.
