The fare, if not exceptional, is certainly loads of fun for those who aim to be entertained by their food. Start with flash-fried Japanese river crabs or otsumami (an assortment of edamame, green bean tempura and shishito), then move on to small plates like the Maine lobster taquitos with palmito and jalapeño shallot dressing. First-rate main dishes include miso-marinated Chilean sea bass or chicken teriyaki, Samba style: organic chicken, aji amarillo, purple potato mash and crispy onions.
