This small Argentinean storefront has pizzazz to burn (but little space to spare), and it’s BYO with no corkage fee. It serves all the basics: empanadas, escabèche and an array of beef dishes that would make a gaucho sit up and take notice. Try the parrillada for two: short ribs, flap meat, chorizo, beef sweetbreads and blood sausage. If that doesn’t appeal to you, get a nice grilled filet mignon, or grab lighter bites, like sliced, garlicky, vinegar-marinated eggplant or Argentine-style tortilla de papa. Desserts don’t go much beyond typical flan.
