| Tapa is a good choice for those looking for a fun night out with friends. The abundant wine selection, traditional Spanish cuisine and eclectic live music at this hangout create a lively vibe. The Spanish menu features plenty of entrées, such as paella and grilled meats, but the way to go is to share several tapas and a bottle of wine. Daily specials are always a good bet and include meat-filled empanadas and croquetas. Other tapas include sautéed mushrooms in white wine, fried calamari with pepper, and grilled pork with cumin and chili. The wine list is extensive and includes selections from throughout the world, but the focus is, naturally, on Spanish wines, and dozens of varieties from all regions of Spain are available. A pitcher of sangría and a seat on the outdoor patio is a good way to pass a summer evening. |
