THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED TAPS Fish House & Brewery Restaurant Review:

This massive sister site of the popular downtown Brea eatery brings a breath of fresh air to the chain restaurant-riddled sprawl of the Irvine Marketplace. Beer enthusiasts crowd the sleek horseshoe-shaped bar and quaff the venue’s own craft brews, while others gravitate toward the list of wine and cocktails, including several aged mixed drinks on tap. People coming in for lunch or dinner can settle into the spacious, rustic dining space and enjoy executive chef Ryan Robertson’s take on seafood and contemporary fare. His skill with seafood is evident in starters like the aguachile shrimp ceviche and the tableside-prepped sizzling Japanese hamachi, as well as mains such as the jam-packed cioppino and the miso-marinated Chilean sea bass. Those who stick to land will be satisfied with dishes like the properly made Caesar salad, double-cut pork chop and rib-eye steak with bone marrow and herb butter. Be sure to save room for the indulgent butter cake for dessert. And like its Brea counterpart, this locale rolls out an all-you-can-eat Sunday brunch featuring scores of surf ‘n’ turf delights.
