 Tara Thai Northwest Restaurant Review: Tara Thai has long been known for vibrant and densely flavorful Thai and Laotian cuisine. Located in a charming Victorian house, you’ll instantly feel relaxed and in good hands at this family-run restaurant. Authentic seasonings and preparations combine with local ingredients to produce such dishes as succulent green mussels sautéed in yellow bean sauce with fresh ginger and spices. You will also find Laotian classics such as banana blossom garnishes and fish cooked with citrus marinades. For dessert, try sweet purple rice in heated coconut milk. To drink, there’s a full bar with tropical cocktails as well as a small wine list and the typical Asian beers. The patio is a lovely spot to while away a warm night. |
