THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Tasca Lisboa Restaurant Review: This romantic, 50-seat restaurant is abloom with orchids, flickering candlelight and homespun Old-World appointments. Recipes were lovingly brought by the owners from Portugal. The menu here reflects the national infatuation with codfish by offering it grilled, boiled, baked in cream sauce, braised with potatoes, and---well, you get the picture. The fishy taste of this bacalhau isnt for everyone, in which case strip steak smothered in garlic sauce or shrimp sautéed in olive oil with fresh herbs and garlic will suffice. Tasca Lisboa imports fresh, simply prepared and straightforwardly presented cuisine. Finish with a glass of Portugals better known export: port.
