THIS RESTAURANT HAS CHANGED LOCATIONS Tasty n Sons Restaurant Review:
A major reboot streamlined the interior décor and introduced dishes reflecting chef/owner John Gorham's Southern roots. But guests will be pleased to still find the same distinctive approach to food and signature items such as the bacon-wrapped dates, shakshuka red pepper and tomato stew with baked eggs and merguez lamb sausage, and chocolate potato donut holes with crème anglaise. Dinnertime now offers shrimp and grits, fried clams and Alabama-style barbecued chicken along with tried-and-true favorites. Expect to find a line when the door opens at 9 a.m., and if you arrive later, a wait is guaranteed. Brunch is arguably the busiest dining time. While caloric excess is easy, if desired, you can make an entire meal of vegetables. Slide everything down with strong black coffee or a zippy Bloody Mary --- or if it's later in the day, the substantial beer and wine selections will satisfy most palates.
