 Teapot Vegetarian House Restaurant Review: It’s all things all vegetable at the Teapot Vegetarian House in Redmond. The far-ranging menu features Pan-Asian dishes from Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Japan and China. Appetizers include “Asian Fries” made with lotus root instead of potatoes, lettuce wraps filled with mushrooms and tofu, and traditional Chinese steamed dumplings. Soups range from corn chowder to spicy chili and lemon grass. Heartier noodle dishes feature pad thai tofu and Vietnamese crispy wide noodles. Also available is a selection of curries. For a sweet finish, order the tofu cheesecake topped with fresh fruit or tapioca pearls christened with a brown sugar sauce. |
