 This fast-casual restaurant has a 1,000-square-foot outdoor courtyard and is decorated with artwork by Jeremyville. Wood recycled from the space’s previous occupant was used to create the furniture. Chef Rian Brandenburg directs the kitchen and utilizes local seafood and produce, and humanely raised meats. Menu items feature favorites from other Tender Greens locations as well as new fare such as a grilled octopus salad with arugula, roasted fingerling potatoes, fennel and chickpeas with a grilled lemon vinaigrette; and chipotle barbecue chicken or local albacore, both served with mashed potatoes or on top of ciabatta bread. Tender Greens Santa Monica is 100-percent bottle-less and serves all wine, beer, water and soda through a draft system.
