Tequila Museo Mayahuel Restaurant Review: Part restaurant, part bar, part lounge and even part museum, Tequila Museo Mayahuel centers on the best of Mexican culture. While tequila may be the focus, with dozens of varieties available to taste and purchase, the food shares centerstage. The menu features regional south-of-the-border delicacies, as well as unique takes on traditional fare. Small plates include chorizo bruschetta and cheese-stuffed taquitos, as well as signature poblano soup. Mains include rib-eye with chorizo, tilapia with bean sauce and crab- and shrimp-stuffed chile relleno. Desserts also take a Mexican spin, such as the mango mousse cake and chocolate flan cake. Indulge in a specialty tequila cocktail, which may include flavors such as mango, chile, hibiscus or jalapeño.
