This Sleepy Hollow restaurant is a good destination for well-prepared, authentic Thai cuisine served in a relaxed and tasteful setting. Throw in solicitous and personable service and a flexible chef happy to modify dishes to suit individual preferences (to a reasonable extent) and you have the makings of a neighborhood favorite. The kitchen will accommodate preferred levels of spiciness, and though vegetarian dishes are an integral part of the menu, vegetarian versions of meat selections are also available to suit dietary preferences when requested. Among the appetizers, the steamed spring rolls are light and refreshing as is the steamed Thai dumpling made with shrimp and ground pork and served with a soy vinaigrette. Traditional Thai entrées include a mixed seafood combination of shrimp, scallops and squid, with chili garlic sauce and basil leaves sautéed with vegetables, and sautéed beef with fresh ginger, garlic and vegetables. Duck preparations excel, including the tender roasted boneless duck flavored with ginger, spices and a black bean sauce.
