Thai Kitchen Restaurant Review

: You can’t go wrong starting with the first item on the mile-long menu: tom yam kung, hot and sour Thai soup with lemon grass and lime. It sets the stage for dishes that range from savory-sweet (pineapple fried rice) to spicy-tangy (shrimp sam rot, or shrimp in three sauces). The pad thai is familiar to most, as is the roti, but the adventurous go straight for frogs’ legs, squid or a crispy pancake of fried mussels. Just for fun, try the battered, deep-fried ice cream. Spicing is denoted on the menu, and they mean it --- the heat can be extremely aggressive, so speak up if your tongue is not properly insulated. With the main entrance facing a grocery store rather than the street, the restaurant can be a bit tricky to see at first glance, but it’s worth it to keep looking.
