| Thai Passion’s classy atmosphere and extended hours make it suitable for business lunches, low-key nocturnal dinners and late-night cravings. A sunlit atrium festooned with fresh flowers creates the right mood to enjoy cuisine just as light and artful. Mushrooms stuffed with shrimp, onions and carrots and dressed with ginger sauce are a good prelude to classic Thai entrées like larb, curry, satay, pad thai and stir-fries. Chef’s specials tend to be spicy and heavy on seafood. For weekday lunches, we prefer the quick and affordable Lunch Express. Try the cool and zesty koong pla---grilled shrimp on romaine lettuce with cucumber, cilantro and lime-chile pepper sauce. We like to finish the meal with traditional iced coffee laced with condensed milk or the mango mousse. The kitchen maintains the quality while serving night owls up until 3 a.m. |
