Thomas Hill Organics Restaurant Review: Chef Christopher Manning brings classic training and a creative approach to Thomas Hill Organics. The bistro’s menu changes frequently due to seasonal availability, but expect to see dishes such as black lentil tacos with candied jalapeños, a braised duck salad with butternut squash and cranberries, and local organic chicken that’s herb roasted with a caper gastrique. Desserts receive the same considered approach and have included a chili cheesecake as well as cinnamon gelato used in a float with house-made sesame chips. The wine list celebrates Central Coast labels, with a good by-the-glass selection and even some half-glass options, and there are two rotating craft drafts available, too. Indoor seating has been significantly expanded since the bistro first opened, but the most popular tables are still outside on the European-style patio.
