Three Doors Down Cafe & Lounge Restaurant Review: This neighborhood Italian bistro offers a classic menu in a stone and glass room; the space can get noisy but that adds to the lively feel. There’s a pleasant bar if you desire just a small bite or need to wait for a table, and bartenders offer friendly chats and appealing drinks, many with an Italian influence, such as a Negroni or an Amalfi made with limoncello. There’s also a carefully selected wine list. Among seasonal dishes are menu mainstays such as the spicy seafood pasta or tortiglione with vodka sauce and sausage. While pastas are the most popular dishes, we also suggest entrées such as a grilled cocoa- and coffee-crusted pork tenderloin or pan-roasted wild salmon with chanterelles and tarragon beurre blanc. For dessert, you won’t go wrong with the light tiramisu. |
