Tiki's Grill & Bar Restaurant Review: You will like Tiki’s if you have a soft spot for tiki-themed décor, potent tropical cocktails and fresh seafood served with an ocean view. Situated on the second floor of the Aston Waikiki Beach Hotel, the restaurant is popular with visitors and locals who, especially on weekends, flock here to enjoy the live entertainment, hopping bar scene and reasonable prices. Chef Ronnie Nasuti's influence is evident in the entrée selection, with more refinement in the seafood and farm-to-table flavors married with Tiki's signature island inspirations. Raw pupu (appetizers) such as ahi tataki, tartare or poke are made with fish fresh from the morning's auction. If you prefer heartier fare, order the Windward Side Smoke Meat appetizer or prime rib poke. Coconut shrimp, seared ahi, and macadamia nut-crusted island fish are offered, but we suggest looking to the specialties for dishes from Nasuti, such as lamb or duck. Wines, beers and a selection of in-the-spirit drinks, such as the fruit-flavored margaritas and Hawaiian iced tea, are available.
