Tiny Thai Restaurant Review

: The Upper East Side’s Tiny Thai offers traditional Thai, Japanese and Vietnamese dishes, and vegetarian choices too. Design-forward and fun with high white quilted banquettes, purple lights, cement walls, and red dots as decoration, the restaurant is filled with families in the earlier hours of the day and late night revelers on the weekend. Pad thai goes beyond the usual with duck or soft-shelled crab versions. Tofu can be substituted for meat or seafood in the summer rolls, and whole crispy fish with lemon grass and ginger can also be served filleted for the faint of heart. The restaurant is accommodating and lively with a music track that changes from pop to lounge according to the clientele. The drink menu spans the globe with beers from Europe, sakés from Japan, martinis reflecting a global sensibility, and Thai iced coffee and iced tea.
