Tommy's Cuisine Restaurant Review: Offering Italian food with a Creole twist, Tommy's is a wood-clad, neighborhood kind of place with an owner, Tommy Andrade, who knows how to satisfy a garlic lover’s palate. Dishes such as chicken Rosemarino, soft-shell crab with crawfish pasta, and the shrimp linguine do the trick. Classic French Creole preparations are also available, such as shrimp rémoulade, crab meat maison and fish meunière. Chef specialties run heavily toward seafood casseroles, the best being the crab meat au gratin. We also suggest the seafood-stuffed eggplant with shrimp, crab and crawfish. As long as your taste buds are trained on Italian, try the authentic torroncino (cinnamon-toasted almond gelato) for dessert, or perhaps the tiramisu. Tommy’s wine list covers all bases, with 150 selections and about two dozen offered by the glass. Tommy’s wine bar next door shares the same list. Service is seasoned and professional.
