Tommy's Cuisine Restaurant Review: Tommy's is a wood-clad, neighborhood kind of place offering good Italian food. Owner Tommy Andrade knows how to satisfy a garlic lover’s palate, and does so with dishes like the chicken Rosemarino, soft-shell crab with crawfish pasta, and the Oysters Tommy. Classic French Creole preparations are also available, such as shrimp rémoulade, crab meat maison and fish meunière. Chef specialties run heavily toward seafood casseroles, the best being the crab meat au gratin. We also suggest the seafood stuffed eggplant with shrimp, crab and crawfish. As long as your taste buds are trained on Italian, try the authentic torroncino (cinnamon-toasted almond gelato) for dessert, or perhaps the tiramisu. Tommy’s wine list covers all bases, and features 150 bottles and about two dozen by the glass. Tommy’s wine bar next door shares the same list. Service is seasoned and professional.
