Tony’s Coal-Fired Pizza & Slice House Restaurant Review

: Chef, owner and pizza champion Tony Gemignani opened this eatery next door to his Tony's Pizza Napoletana. Here, New York-style pies baked in a coal-fired oven and Sicilian pizzas are available by the slice. The styles of pizza created at the original location are offered as well. Deli items include a Chicago-inspired Italian beef sandwich and a classic pastrami on rye. Diners order at the counter and eat at a smattering of outdoor tables, great for people-watching in lively North Beach.
