Although this simple family-run operation no longer offers pulled pork, it does present a very fine chopped pork sandwich moistened with the house sauce. Baked beans are not as sweet as at many other establishments, and that gets our vote, too. Collards are another fine side. There's plenty to bring us back again and again, such as the chicken, ribs and smoked sausage. But the star of the show may well be the Brunswick stew. Okay, it does contain peas (anathema to some purists), but the flavor is spot-on classic. There are several desserts, but we think you'll want the sweet potato pie. And sweet tea, of course.
