From the outside it's a nondescript bungalow across from the Monon, a popular linear park trail. Inside, it's a glorious taste of European fare whether you're getting food to go or waiting for one of the few, well-appointed tables. If larger, this would be one of the hottest and best bargains in town for superb dining in a gracious manner. The menu of robust soups, chunky stews, heavenly lasagna, pasta or panini sandwiches changes daily, while breakfast is a given all day from the fluffiest French toast made with challah bread to eggs Benedict or eggs simmered in a wonderful spicy tomato sauce. What the Euro lacks in space it makes up in quality and impeccably prepared dishes. The little sister and backdoor neighbor of the upscale Tavola di ToSa Ristorante and Wine Bar, it offers authentic tastes of Italy as well as a deli with imported cheeses, meats, olives and some of the best freshly-baked bread in town. The European-style desserts, also baked daily in-house, are decadent with a cup of rich coffee on the deck or to munch at home.
