THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Tower 42 Restaurant Review:

Tower 42’s interior is done in light tones, and is marked by fireplaces in the front atrium, warming while enjoying a cocktail, and on the back patio, with its view of the beach. The seafood-centric menu commences with skillfully cooked mussels --- just slightly briny --- in a coconut curry-lobster broth with accompanying grilled bread. A pan-seared crab cake is dense with Maryland crab and just enough filler to keep it all together, and served with a thick celery root rémoulade. There are several fish dishes on offer; particularly well-crafted is the rainbow trout, pan-roasted with a moist hush puppies stuffing and finished with a slightly sweet brown butter. Meat is also covered, with the likes of a large bone-in dry-aged Prime rib-eye with onion marmalade. Desserts are mostly straightforward with choices such as vanilla panna cotta, but there’s intrigue to be found in pumpkin ravioli with cocoa nibs and bourbon crème anglaise. The wine list is seafood-friendly with quite a few white wines, and cocktails are eclectic.
