 Set in a home built in 1883, Trattoria Nostrani serves Northern Italian cuisine accented by global nuances, complemented by an extensive wine cellar specializing in French and Italian selections. The menu, overseen by executive chef Nelli Maltezos, includes foie gras custard with peaches; diver scallops with quail porchetta, tomato and white wine; ravioli with black pepper and Pecorino Toscano; braised baby octopus with soft polenta; and veal scaloppine with tuna conserva, capers and a white wine reduction. Service is efficient, albeit curt, and the no fragrance policy is strictly enforced.
