THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Tremont 647 Restaurant Review:

Andy Husbands gives a Southern flair to his contemporary cuisine at this South End eatery that just keeps getting better. Its success is due in part to its true neighborhood character: energetic and sassy, from the open kitchen and the long, narrow dining room, dimly-lit in a hue of pale mustard, to the slightly sleeker adjoining lounge, Sister Sorel. Husbands was a pioneer of high-low fusion, and it's still evident in signature items such as the braised pork shoulder ragù with fennel tomato sauce, creamy mascarpone and crunchy roasted garlic breadcrumbs. In terms of grilled meat, he’s also a known entity on the barbecue competition circuit, so don't miss the spit-roasted pork loin with creamed lima beans or the “Wicked Good” pulled pork sammy with sweet potato fries. Desserts are as varied as the main courses --- share a plate of chocolate almond bacon bark or dive right into the signature banana cream pie or orange bourbon bread pudding. The $2 taco Tuesdays offer a reason to head here midweek.
