| The ambience may be Irish pub, but the grub is modern American and sophisticated at that. Start with a salad of candy cane beets, fennel and frisée dressed in a citrusy orange vinaigrette or sample the house-cured gravlax with chopped red onion, chèvre and toasted black bread. Appealing entrées include braised lamb shanks with black barley and English spring peas and grilled veal chop au jus with braised leeks and chanterelles. The wine list is small, affordable and nicely chosen. |
