| A quick once-over of the menu at this Silicon Valley restaurant reveals that this is not your typical Indian curry house. The cuisine is perhaps better fit for a rajah's table, and the prices are predictably higher than you'll find at the average Indian restaurant. Dishes such as marinated tandoori salmon and New Zealand lamb chops are sure to please affluent diners who want to go a bit above and beyond the typical tandoori-chicken-and-naan offerings. Besides the tikkas and kormas and so forth, the choices include lamb rogan josh and seafood curry. There are plenty of vegetarian options. The full bar boasts a wine list and a specialty cocktail menu that puts most of its competitors to shame. The bread and kebab house within Turmeric serves quick plates at lower prices for those who'd prefer a less extravagant version of Indian dining. |
